I’m sure this will piss off a few people (and already has some others), but I saw my third Red Sox game of the season this past Tuesday night. And this is after the World Series I said that it would be impossible for me to see even a single game. But I digress. Time for me to brag a little. During my softball game on Tuesday night, I got on base every time I came to bat. I’m not talking about just one or two at-bats. I was up four times. One was a triple with two or three RBIs. Of course, my fielding is still weak-ass, but I’ll sweep that under the rug.
I wasn’t expecting to go to even a single game this year and now I’ve gone to two. I saw the first game of the double header against the Seattle Mariners today with my father. I know it was Mother’s Day. Hush. The game was supposed to be last night but it got rained out. Also, dad was the one that got the tickets, so taking them a second time to see a game with someone else didn’t seem appropriate. ...
I got a chance to go to a Red Sox game last night with my Sox buddy, Dana. We even spanked the Devilrays 10-0. I wasn’t expecting to get to go this year, so it was great to go so early in the season. If Raytheon has another group Red Sox trip like they did last year, I may go again.
Hurrah for the Pats! I managed to survive the Superbowl party I went to. I even posted up some pictures. No pictures of me, for those of you curious. At any rate, it was a great time and a pretty good game (from what I can remember). Now where’s Freddie Mitchell’s big mouth?
There is only one possibility for a Superbowl win. The Patriots will beat the Philadelphia Eagles. The Pats will soon join the ranks of other great teams like the Cowboys in the 90s. Go Pats!
Seeing as there are only two games next week, I think I can pick them now. New England vs. Pittsburgh Atlanta vs. Philadelphia Atlanta looked really strong and I think their run game may destroy the Eagles. Pittsburgh simply didn’t look that good against the Jets (who would have won save for two missed kicks).
