I’m Officially Depressed
I was riding on cloud 9 last night. Today was supposed to be a great day. My day was supposed to be wake up at 9, see some houses at 11, then come home and relax before Tiger arrived late afternoon or in the evening.
Everything went according to plan… except for the last part. My copy of Mac OS X Tiger got delayed for delivery by Apple. I could have driven to an Apple Store to get it, but nooooo, I had to tell Apple ahead of time that I wanted a copy. Rookie mistake apparently.
As a result, the series I was going to do on Tiger will be delayed and I get to stew in my sad juices.
Dude….don’t get me started…
Apple I love but they are on my shitlist too, numero uno, for the same reason. I’ll spare you the you the same similar experience and details. It’d better f*ing be here Monday morning. Mr. Jobs is about to lose God status and be reduced to a Saint…the f.
I want my widgets and everything else to go with it….NOW…afterall, they GUARANTEED delivery TODAY.
Maybe it’s a conspiracy against this website and its readers.
OK OK OK….time for my Mea Culpa…..seems the culprit has been FedEx…..(I read something somewhere about this).
My apologies to Apple (sorta) lol. Had I not left work yesterday at 1, I would have known my Tiger was sitting on my desk by 4. I just picked it up and am getting ready to install (which way? not sure yet….).
I guess I should’nt do drunken blog postings late at night anymore…..kinda like drunk dialing/emailing.

Well, I checked Fedex’s tracking system and it’s still on track for Monday (according to them). I read that people getting Tiger late can call up and get one of the following free for the inconvenience: iLife, iWork, $30 for use at an Apple Store.
I think a copy of iLife ‘05 will ease my pain.
